Store policy
Terms
The terms that apply when you use steepra.com or purchase a Steepra tea pet.
Effective date: 25 August 2026
1. About Steepra
Steepra is operated by Kibo Trading, L.L.C., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States (“Steepra”, “we”, “us” or “our”). You can contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page.
2. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply to your use of steepra.com and purchases made from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a contract and that the information you provide is accurate. If mandatory consumer law in your country gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights continue to apply and take priority over any conflicting part of these Terms.
3. Products and natural variation
We aim to describe and photograph every product accurately. Tea pets and ceramic pieces may show natural or handmade variation in colour, glaze, texture, dimensions and surface details. Screen settings and lighting can also affect how colours appear. These expected variations are part of the character of the piece and are not defects, but they do not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or materially different from its description.
Ceramic products can become hot and can break if dropped or exposed to sudden temperature changes. Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, our tea pets are decorative tea accessories, not toys, cookware or food-storage vessels. Follow the care information provided on the product page and keep breakable items away from children and pets.
4. Prices, currency, taxes and import charges
Store prices are displayed in United States dollars (USD) unless the site clearly indicates another currency. The checkout shows the product price, available delivery charges and any tax that we collect before you place the order. Currency-conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider are your responsibility.
For cross-border orders, the destination country may impose import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees or other charges that we do not collect at checkout. Unless checkout expressly states that these charges are included, the recipient is responsible for paying them to the relevant authority or carrier. We do not control these charges or customs-processing times.
5. Orders and contract formation
Submitting an order is an offer to buy the selected products. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we received the order but does not guarantee acceptance. We accept the order when we send an acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or when we otherwise begin fulfilling it. We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance for reasons such as unavailable stock, an obvious pricing or description error, an unsupported destination, payment failure or suspected fraud. If we cancel after collecting payment, we will return the amount collected for the cancelled items.
Products are intended for personal use unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may limit quantities where reasonably necessary to protect availability or prevent unauthorized resale.
6. Payment
You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the total shown at checkout using the selected payment method. Payments are processed by the payment provider made available at checkout; Steepra does not store complete card numbers. You are responsible for using a payment method that you are authorized to use.
7. Shipping and delivery
Available destinations, delivery services, charges and current estimates are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed date. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Contact us promptly if it needs correction; an address may no longer be changeable after the carrier accepts the parcel.
If we cannot dispatch within the promised period, or within the period required by applicable law, we will provide an updated estimate and any cancellation or refund option required by law. Risk of loss passes at the time required by the law that applies to your purchase. More information is available in our Shipping Policy.
8. Cancellations, returns and refunds
You may ask to cancel before dispatch. Once an order has entered fulfilment or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible and the return process will apply. Our voluntary return window, return conditions, refund timing and instructions are set out in our Returns & Refunds policy. Nothing in that policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable EU and UK distance-selling cancellation rights.
9. Damaged, incorrect or faulty goods
Inspect your parcel after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, incorrect or faulty, keep the item and packaging and contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and clear photographs. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we will arrange an appropriate remedy such as replacement, repair, price reduction or refund. Any request for photographs is intended to help us resolve the issue and does not remove your statutory rights.
10. Accounts and acceptable use
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, interfere with checkout or security, scrape the site in a way that impairs it, or use the site for unlawful or fraudulent activity. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the site or our legal rights.
11. Intellectual property
The Steepra name, site design, photographs, product copy, illustrations and other site content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the site for personal shopping and may share ordinary links to public pages. No other licence is granted without our written permission.
12. Site availability and liability
We may maintain, update or temporarily suspend parts of the site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or business losses arising from a consumer purchase. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be limited.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections or access to courts available under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern directly.
14. Changes and severability
The Terms in effect when you place an order govern that purchase. We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a new effective date. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
